Ah very nice xD, what game or mod is this? you might have to put normal map in some kind of area that say " Bump texture" or height map something like that. and the glow in emissive map or self illumination map i am just guessing tho idk what that game supports/ how they set it up.
Hey thanks for checking out my stuff Endlessillusion! I was scouting 3D-artist group and I found your wonderfull Miku character so I donwloaded her asap xd but it seems like my 3ds max 2013 cannot see the textures for some reason. I want to rig her and make her dance a little C:
But first I need to fix those textures. Any clue why its not showing up? Btw Im using Vray renderer.

Thanks a lot i am not sure on why the textures are not working maybe you have to apply them on new mats. endlessillusionx.deviantart.co… select the part of the mesh and ad new mat other then that you would have to ask a max user about this sorry X_x.
Yeah, I couldnt make it work so ive made my own materials with textures, my max said that your file is made with a newer version of max and that caused this confusion xd I had to import your obj which is one solid mesh, so I had to extra separate it. Luckly the uv`s were there.. at least haha xd I`m finishing rigging her now. Why in that mm work youve sended me she has a torso and here she hasnt
Ah ok happy you got it working yeah good thing i sent out a lot of file types next time i will save the file in Max 2008 to be safe.
When Modeling for games you delete Anything your not going to see, back of head / anywhere that clothes cover, etc to save on the Polycount, since she has a vest on it made no scene to keep her belly / torso area BUT if your game Has different clothes then you leave the full Body.
Ah ok yeah since this was just a random model i just made it standard game friendly, not to sure what people needed. Also i found out to get the sleeves to work in some software you have to separate it from the vest and apply it's own material so you can see the transparent and her arms at the same time.
